Enjoy your break everyone! We will be back to school November 30th and rolling right into our next VEX Competitions. Enjoy your days off and be ready to restart with strength!
The ERHS Robotics Club is a group of about 50 bright students from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD who come together to think of, design, and develop creative solutions to a wide variety of challenges in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Field.
We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) as Team 53 - "Area 53"
Meeting Schedule Changes
Sorry for the late notice, but due to the scheduled parent-teacher conferences and veterans day, there will be no Robotics Fundamentals meeting on Tuesday, November 10, nor will there be a VEX meeting on Wednesday, November 11. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The interest meeting today was a great way to meet so many great new students interested in becoming more involved in STEM through robotics. I'm sure that with the help of these great new students and the strong backbone that our returning members make we are setting up Area 53 for a great season in VEX, FRC, and robotics education in general.
We want to see as many of you who came out today as soon come back to be welcomed as official members of Area 53 robotics but in order to do that we need you to fill out our application form. It can be found in the New Students Tab above or from this link: http://goo.gl/forms/LA5NNi9dQ9
Please get those done as soon as possible so that we can get past the bureaucracy and get into the fun stuff! So, are you ready to build robots?
